Illai's a half-elven Horizon Walker Ranger (lv.16) with an accidental multiclass into Great Old One Warlock (lv.3).She's a mix of wild elven upbringing, and gnomish culture from her foster father. Curious to a fault, relatively gullible, and way too high energy across the board.Her design has changed a lot over the course of nearly 60 sessions, partially due to changes in environment and in part due to growing closer to Azathoth as her warlock patron. She's a headache to play purely because her pact has spiralled her into complete (although well-meaning) insanity.Illai has a unique immunity to mental magic, leaving her largely immune to Az's attempts to steer its unknowing mortal vessel. The two have a symbiotic relation, Illai generally treating Az like a slightly annoying, close friend, and Az generally playing along to keep her aligned with its goals, having enlisted Illai with the conviction she was protecting their realm & allies in doing so.Az intends the exact opposite, but needs Illai's collaboration due to her innate immunity..
